<p><strong>Maintenance Control Engineer<br /> <br /> Company Introduction</strong><br /> AirTanker are looking for people who thrive in a challenging, customer focussed environment.&nbsp; We are passionate about what we do and we want you to be too.</p> <p>AirTanker have been contracted to deliver the Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft programme to the Ministry of Defence.&nbsp; Working with the RAF, the programme will deliver a passenger transport, air to air refuelling and aeromedical evacuation capability and surrounding support service for the next 23 years. It is not simply about procuring an effective and reliable aircraft, but also requires us to cover all aspects of an integrated support service including aircraft maintenance, crew training, relevant infrastructure, fleet management and ground services.<br /> <br /> <strong>About the Role</strong><br /> We are looking for a Maintenance Control Engineer to join our exciting venture at AirTanker. Reporting to the Maintrol Manager your main remit will be to provide engineering support to the AirTanker fleet at its base at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire and across all our locations globally.<br /> <br /> In return we can offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to learn and grow within a unique company working with military aircraft alongside the RAF.<br /> <br /> <strong>About You</strong></p> <ul> <li>EASA Licence B1/B2 holder essential.</li> <li>Airbus A330 Type Rating preferred.</li> <li>Previous experience within a Maintenance Control environment is essential, preferably involving the management of the civil type aircraft.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain oversight of fleet compliance.</li> <li>Provide time limited ADD management.</li> <li>Act as the single point of communication between Engineering and Flight Operations, both at and away from main base.</li> <li>Provide 24/7 technical support for the AirTanker fleet, globally.</li> <li>Co-ordinate efficient and effective AOG support and recovery.</li> <li>Review SAP and liaise with the Short Term Planner to ensure work orders, work packs and associated paperwork is issued to the production areas.</li> <li>Carry out some data entry into the Engineering Part M maintenance management system SAP, when requested and out of normal working hours.</li> <li>Be personally responsible for engaging in all facets of the AirTanker Services SMS, Quality and Environmental Management Systems to provide a safe and efficient outcome to all that you do. &nbsp;</li> <li>Carry out any other relevant task, as requested by the ATrS management team.</li> </ul> <p>Due to the nature of the organisation, all employees of AirTanker Services are required to be security cleared to SC level. If successful in your application we would support you with the SC process.
