<br /> <p><b>Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) part of the Emirates Group </b>is the world?s largest in-flight catering operation providing in-flight catering and support services for airlines from Dubai International Airport. With a workforce of over 6500 multinational employees and four work sites, EKFC has a clientele of 120 airlines and airline hospitality lounges in Dubai International Airport as well as running a large off airport Food and Beverage business. </p><p> </p><p>This position is within the Operations Department. </p><p> </p><p><b>Reporting to Vice President Airport Catering Services, your responsibilities will include: </b> </p><p> </p><ul> <li>Implement and maintain the standards required for OHSAS18001:2007 certification. </li><li>Responsible for ensuring that all catering activities with food safety requirements in accordance with World Food Safety Guidelines, local Dubai Municipality Health Authority regulations and airline requirements. </li><li>Lead a large and multinational workforce through all aspects of the employee life cycle including manpower planning, recruitment and selection, induction, learning and development, performance management and succession planning. </li><li>Develop and maintain client relationships by pro-actively providing customer service excellence, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring that service failures are addressed promptly and professionally. </li><li>Represent Emirates Flight Catering during client audits, menu presentations and client functions. </li><li>Apply the Quality Policy and Quality System established in accordance with ISO9001:2000 standards and execute all responsibilities according to the department work procedures. </li><li>Responsible for the preparation of the annual manpower, capital expenditure and non-capital budgets and achieving budget targets. </li><li>Responsible for the preparation of periodic performance reports including trend analysis, risk mitigation and improvement identification and action planning. </li><li>Responsible for planning and managing daily operational activities for a 24 hour x 7 day per week operation including regular airline business of approximately 240 flights per day including VIP flight services. </li> </ul> <p> </p><p><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><p> </p><ul> <li>Bachelor?s Degree in Business or related field. </li><li>Extensive experience in a senior operations management role in an airport services environment. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage staff using a structured performance management framework to link corporate objectives to those of the department and individual contributors. </li><li>Ability to resolve customer complaints and anticipate emerging customer needs to continually improve service standards. </li><li>Ability to collaborate cross functionally and at all levels and team based approach including ability to positively manage conflict. </li><li>Proven ability to implement a structured cascade communication program that reaches all levels of the department. </li><li>Highest standard of professional conduct including a high standard of verbal and written communication. </li><li>Demonstrated analytical skills including business planning, work demand forecasting, manpower planning, capex justifications and budgeting High level of commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, high levels of staff participation and diversity. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in the implementation and compliance to an integrated QMS including Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance.
