<br /> <p>Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) part of the Emirates Group is the world’s largest in-flight catering operation providing in-flight catering and support services for airlines from Dubai International Airport. With a workforce of over 6500 multinational employees and four work sites, EKFC has a clientele of 120 airlines and airline hospitality lounges in Dubai International Airport as well as running a large off airport Food and Beverage business. </p><p> </p><p>This position is within the Production Department for the Far Eastern section. </p><p> </p><p><b>Reporting to </b><b>the Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include:</b> </p><p> </p><ul> <li>Responsible for the food production of the Far Eastern / Chinese section. </li> <li>Ensure the food production is as per set standards and procedures in adherence to the menu specifications and Hygiene and Safety requirements. </li> <li>Ensure that a proper stock rotation is maintained. </li> <li>Maintain proper records of Production within the section. </li> <li>Make sure that all assigned production staff carry out their duties in a set time frame. </li> <li>Provide instructions to team members to follow the recipes and methods; keeping wastage to a minimum. </li> <li>Comply with the Company Occupational Health & Safety Policy. </li> </ul> <p> </p><p><b>Experience & Qualifications:</b> </p><p><b></b> </p><ul> <li>Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification </li> <li>Extensive experience in a professional kitchen or airline catering with demonstrated hands on experience in Chinese cuisine. </li> <li>Ability to work and perform under significant pressure in a 24/7 working environment. </li> <li>Strong culinary skills and background </li> <li>High standards of verbal and written communication in English </li> <li>A professional manner with the ability to work under pressure to meet targets and achieve results </li> <li>Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively </li> <li>High level of commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change </li> </ul> <p> </p><p><b></b> </p><p><b>Salary & Benefits:</b>Salary package will be discussed during the interview to successful candidates. </p><p><b>To Apply:</b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on-line. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> Please click the Apply now button and search for reference:EPC/AA/24437
