The airline is an employee-focused company with a commitment to providing staff with excellent working conditions and competitive salaries. </p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The Position:</b> Based at San Francisco International Airport you will ensure that ground handling agent and other service suppliers are fully briefed regarding EK requirements and resources optimally deployed so that the expected level of service to Emirates passengers is provided in a timely and efficient manner. You will deal with delays, disruptions, excess baggage and over sales, including implementation of the Options schemes, within EK guidelines and directions from the Airport Services Manager/Officer. You will control catering uplifts and expenditure on meals and accommodation for transfer or delayed passengers. </p><p>You will supervise staff on duty ensuring that all relevant areas of the operation are fully covered, including Baggage Services and ensure all post flight activities are completed correctly and queries and complaints from HQ departments are investigated and responded in a timely manner. You will perform other duties as directed from time to time by the Airport Services Manager or Airport Services Officer in order to meet operational needs. <b> </b></p><p><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> Educated to High School level standard or equivalent, you must have previous 5 years experience in airport ground handling, with at least 2 years of which must be at a supervisory/senior agent level. You will have thorough knowledge of Ground Operations, Weight and Balance, Baggage Services and claims, and MACS. Basic knowledge of Cargo, MARS, Fares & Ticketing is preferred. You will have excellent organizational and planning skills with a proven ability or aptitude to lead a team and must have very good written and verbal communication skills in English. </p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO LIVE AND WORK IN THE USA.
