Discover your future!<b> <br /> <br />The Position: </b>To deliver the best possible IT solutions and services and maintain a high level of customer service to Emirates Group business units, Emirates Group IT has to develop and retain business and domain expertise and support projects by executing effective analysis techniques to time and cost. Many of our IT Business Analyst will be or become a domain expert for the assigned business area and will provide advisory and consulting services to them and to Emirates Group IT project teams. </p><p>Business Analysts also support Emirates Group IT Project Managers as required on projects by, for example, providing expert domain advice relevant to the customer unit for application support and development, gathering and specifying requirements, assessing feasible options including packages and bespoke development, developing and facilitating test strategies and testing and leading functional aspects of implementations such as user training, etc. <br /> <br /> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits: </b>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. By viewing the 'Dubai Lifestyle' section in the site you can also consider the benefits of Dubai as a location to live and work in. <br /> <br /> <br /><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><ul> <li>Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent) </li><li>A proven track record and at least 3 years experience in business systems analysis for related Business areas (ideally in the transportation industry in): <br />- Business and systems analysis using UML Object-Orientated or Structured Analysis techniques <br />- Requirements gathering and specification </li> </ul> <p><b>Business Domain Knowledge in at least one of the following areas:</b> </p><ul> <li>Airline - all aspects including Revenue Optimisation, Shopping & Pricing Engines, Reservations, Check-in, Sales, e-Commerce and Customer Loyalty </li><li>Cargo - all aspects </li><li>Airports - all aspects </li><li>Marketing & Communications - including mobile channels and social networks </li><li>Travel and Tourism - Specifically Inbound and Outbound Tour Operations and Online Travel Agency Experience </li><li>Aircraft Engineering </li><li>Support Services (including Finance and Accounting, Airline Revenue Accounting, HR, Procurement and Oracle ERP) </li> </ul> <p> <br /><b>To Apply: </b>To express your interest in the above vacancy please apply on-line by clicking below, and complete our application form.
