If you are a high performer, seeking unparalleled career opportunities, join the Emirates team and help us create the future of travel.<b> <br /> <br />PSS Project Brief:</b> </p><p>PSS is the Passenger Service System project that will be delivering a new IT system and work processes across all Commercial and Airport touch points (i.e. from booking to check-in). This is a large scale project that is expected to take approximately 3 years to deliver. </p><p><b>The Positions:</b> </p><p>There are Senior Business Analyst roles available under the following domains: </p><p>* Reservations <br />* Distribution <br />* O&D Availability <br />* Inventory & RMS Interface <br />* Fares & Pricing <br />* Ticketing & Fulfillment <br />* Loyalty <br />* Customer Experience <br />* Departure Control <br />* Airport Hub Operations </p><p><b>Job Purpose:</b> </p><p>To understand the business strategy of assigned PSS domains and related business unit(s) and to translate strategies into business solutions to ensure that the new PSS aligns with Business strategies. <br />The job holder will analyze business strategies and plans, processes and practices as well as industry trends and make recommendations in quantifiable terms on where new PSS changes could produce business benefits such as reduction in unit cost of operation, enhanced productivity and improved decisions. <br /> <br /><b>Job Outline:</b> <b> </b></p><p>* Provide a consulting service to the business by utilizing domain expertise and recommend initiatives where new PSS could add value through modern and flexible new PSS platform, effective business processes and innovative future proof business solutions. </p><p>* Understand the business strategy and work with the Business Solutions team to define new PSS solutions and present them to decision makers within the Emirates Group business units. </p><p>* Solicit and evaluate business requests to determine cost feasibility research and identify options and recommend solutions that best serve business needs across the enterprise. </p><p>* Monitor changes in the industry and Emirates business environment. Regularly and proactively review how these changes might impact new PSS Supplier and Emirates IT's ability to improve its services. Liaise with PSS Supplier product teams and internal PSS Business Technology and Delivery teams to ensure that changes in business landscape is reflected in the overall business architecture technology and applications. </p><p>* Oversee the analysis done by Business Support Group (BSG) as they capture and document business objectives and functional requirements and translate them into requirements and solution definition documents as per QMS and PSS Supplier's processes for system solutions in a comprehensive, meaningful and well-structured manner. This includes ensuring that the proposed business solution will deliver the expected benefits. Ensure that the end product aligns with business strategy. </p><p>* Oversee the production of the logical systems design (detailing business information flow/process) for a proposed solution. This includes validation of the detailed business use cases, system use cases, entity relationship modelling, function hierarchy diagramming and process modelling, function to entity mapping and attributing the entities etc. as appropriate to the methodology being used by the PSS Supplier. </p><p>* Provide domain expertise to the business solutions team to develop new business processes and enable the adoption of new PSS through process changes where it makes sense, as against gap developments on new PSS to support current business processes. </p><p>* Proactively monitor industry trends, evaluate new PSS products and develop business cases. Present product benefits to the business stake holders and develop new initiatives aligned with the business strategy and Emirates growth plans. </p><p>* Interfaces with the PSS user community and PSS Supplier product teams to develop new ideas and business requirements for product innovation. Provide inputs and support to Manager Business Solutions (MBS) for active participation in the PSS Supplier's user community. </p><p>* Set clear and consistent performance objectives, implement performance management and development plans to ensure standards of performance and productivity are achieved and maintained enabling a high performance culture. <br /> <br /><b>Salary & Benefits:</b> </p><p>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund and it has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1="Dh3.66." By viewing the 'Dubai Lifestyle' section in the careers website you can also consider the many benefits of Dubai as a location to live and work in <br /> <br /><b>Experience and Qualifications:</b> </p><p>* Degree or Honours (12 3 or equivalent) </p><p>* Minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar capacity in related Business areas, with in-depth experience in the transportation industry. A proven track record in business system analysis and product development is preferred. </p><p>* Minimum of 5 years experience in the specific domain you wish to apply for. <br />Preferred Additional Experience </p><p>* Strong business domain knowledge of the assigned PSS areas with broad knowledge and awareness of all cross functional domains. Knowledge of third party PSS systems such as Amadeus altea and Sabre Sonic PSS would be an added benefit. </p><p>Please note: Each applicant will only be considered for one of the domain specific roles.
