<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/RW1tYS5Cb25laGlsbC43NjQ0Ni40MjRAcmVzb3VyY2Vncm91cC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif" /><br />J5484 <br />Human Factors Psychologist / Specialist - Contract opportunity <br />UK - South West <br />c£240.00 per day DOE <br /> <br />Opportunity: <br />Due to growth our client requires a permanent Human Factors Psychologist / Specialist however whist a permanent candidate is sought our client requires a Human Factors Psychologist / Specialist contractor to cover the workload. <br /> <br />This is an outstanding opportunity for a contractor to work with a leading Human Factors assessment, development and training solutions company who design and develop a range of bespoke military and commercial Human Factor systems internationally. <br /> <br />Role: <br />As Human Factors Psychologist / Specialist you will be required to develop and deliver projects to external clients through best practice of Human Factor principles and methodologies. To include Human Factor analysis techniques, interface design, system design, Human Computer Interaction, conceptual design and relevant Human Factor software/hardware. <br /> <br />You will be required to gain a full understanding of client requirements and developing appropriate solutions coupled with tendering and technical report writing for Human Factor projects. Additionally you will be required to assist with associated tasks as required by the CEO. <br /> <br />Person: <br />The ideal candidate will be required to be proficient in a range of Human Factor analysis techniques, interface design, system design, Human Computer Interaction, conceptual design and relevant Human Factor software/hardware is essential. <br /> <br />Suitable candidates would be of degree calibre. The Human Factors Psychologist / Specialist role is varied and would suit either an Ergonomist with a background in cognitive psychology, or a Psychologist with a background in Human Factors, looking to progress their Human Factors career to the next level and develop the role within the organisation. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of applied experience and needs to be competent working on HMI/HCI. <br /> <br />You will be required to have good customer-facing and team-working skills to work independently and collaboratively team to deliver projects to clients. Experience in the aviation or defence industries is highly desirable. You will also be required to have an excellent understanding of data validation and statistics. <br /> <br />Based in the South West in the first instance the successful Human Factors Psychologist / Specialist would be required to work at customer sites as required therefore must be able and willing to travel UK wide and Worldwide as an when required for the purposes of business requirements. <br /> <br />Due to the high volume of applications received we are unable to respond to every applicant.
