About this role
<p>Reporting to the Operations and Business Manager to deliver successful set up of new operations and complete projects in accordance with the business unit strategy, drive the development and effective execution of new areas of operations for the business unit’s alignment with global processes, standards, and tools.</p> <p>Drive the short term Resource Planning process, liaise with Flight Operations and Engineering teams and be actively involved in the generation of each new venture plan</p> <p>Oversee the liaison with all business unit departments including Flight Operations, Engineering, Finance and HR and Corporate and other external resources including tax and the legal team. Prepare plans to ensure successful handover of startup operations to permanent base and country management.</p> <p>Once contract secured in a new area the Projects and New Ventures Manager is responsible for establishing all aspects of Service Delivery in that area.</p> <p>Maintain a good working relationship with peers, customers as well as outside vendors.</p> <p>Ensure and maintain a safe work environment at all times.</p> <p>The Company may also require the holder of this position to undertake responsibilities or tasks in addition to those specified below at Company discretion to conform to the Company procedures as appropriate to their work activities</p> <p>Candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Aviation Management, or a related field) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
