About this role
<p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Designing ships based on the initial designs of the Product Group and design specifications</li> <li>The coordination and supervision of the projects in relation to the total engineering, the purchasing of systems and parts, and the outsourcing of work to third parties</li> <li>Supervising/supporting the construction process</li> <li>Providing technical advice/instructions to engineers/draughtsmen and external drawing firms</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering and basic knowledge of naval architecture</li> <li>Knowledge of the laws and regulations in various countries</li> <li>Familiar with classification</li> <li>Experience of working on a project basis</li> <li>Aware of new trends in the market</li> <li>An understanding of the principles</li> <li>Several years’ relevant working experience</li> </ul> <p>S<strong>tart:</strong> As soon as possible</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Gorinchem, The Netherlands</p> <p><strong>Contract:</strong> permanent contract / direct placement</p>
