About this role
<p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Modelling the General Arrangement Plan from the first outlines through to the engineering phase</li> <li>Responsible for the weight budget for the entire design</li> <li>Considering costumer requirements, legislation of Class and Regulatory Bodies, and integrate design solutions from other designers, such as propulsion, E, HVASC, stability and noise.</li> <li>Taking part in the proposal team and /or an engineering team</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Your profile:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Technical training at Bachelor level e.g. Naval Archtiecture</li> <li>Preferably some years of experience in ship design engineering processes</li> <li>Experience with 2D CAD (microtation) and 3D CAD (Rhino) systems</li> <li>Critical, persuasive, creative and cost-conccious</li> <li>Team player</li> <li>Decisive and organised</li> <li>Capable of recognizing bottlenecks and setting priorities</li> <li>Good verbal and written skills communication skills in Dutch and English</li> <li>Prepared to travel regularly in the Netherlands and abroad</li> </ul>
