Projectmanager Engineering m/f

<p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the design of new ships and constructions packages packages related to the initial design for the product group with a package of the requirements (implementation and supervision of total engineering), both before and after completition of an assignment and related to custom and standard ships alike</li> <li>Responsible for the implementation of projects, including design check, design check, basic engineering, detailed engineering and production support</li> <li>Coordinate and supervise one complex or multiple projects for total engineering, purchasing of systems and components and outsourcing of work to third parties</li> <li>Supervise, provide direction, manage and assess the Assistant Engineering Project Manager and Lead Engineers. Indirect supervision of the Engineering Project Manager, Engineers, Senior Engineers and Trainees</li> <li>Explanation of drawings and technical specifications</li> <li>Advice with respect to changes during construction</li> <li>Answer technical questions from procurement, customers, construction sites and external engineering firms</li> <li>Troubleshooting and correction of faults (related to draw-ings, specification and supplier information)</li> <li>Considering the “chain” and keep it in mind (costs, impact, etc.)</li> <li>Making suggestions on new standard systems and components (Product Groups and Standards)</li> <li>Performing background studies on the various systems and the development of innovations</li> <li>Assist the Service Department with renovations and/or warranty-related issues</li> <li>Assist with preparing and guaranteeing a uniform manner of working within the Engineering Department</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to think and work at an HBO (Higher Vocational Education level)</li> <li>Completed education in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent</li> <li>Good oral and written command in Dutch and English</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Project Management</li> <li>Good communication skills</li> <li>Organisational skills, quality conscious, flexible and customer oriented</li> </ul> <p><strong>Start:</strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As soon as possible</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Gorinchem, the Netherlands</p> <p><strong>Contract:</strong> permanent contract / direct placement</p>
