About this role
<p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>In consultation with the Head of Drawing Office or a delegated employee, working out he practical details of an outline Master Plan for a vessel or component based existing designs, standardised or otherwise, including the necessary technical calculations</li> <li>The calculation of the cost price of the vessel, installation or component, this in consultation with the Manager sales</li> <li>The drawing up of contract specifications and /or technical specifications</li> <li>Drawing up specifications and handling the requests for quotations from suppliers</li> <li>The drawing up, management, and standardisation of all the sales documentation for the standard products</li> <li>The finalisation of the quotation and the other sales documents</li> <li>Providing assistance to the sales representative during the closure of the sales (meetings with clients, etc.)</li> <li>The provision of all relevant internal and external correspondence in collaboration with the department secretary</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p> <ul> <li>You are open and direct, client-oriented, meticulous and a genuine team player who is also able to work independently</li> <li>You have an Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture and several years’ experience in industrial machinery construction, crane construction, ship construction, or the dredging industry</li> <li>You have an intuitive understanding of how to make cost-price calculations and designs, with the ability to be both meticulous and creative</li> <li>You are able to draw up clear and accurate technical descriptions in both Dutch and English</li> <li>You are familiar with all the relevant computer software and CAD applications</li> </ul> <p><strong>Start:</strong> As soon as possible</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Nijerk, the Netherlands</p> <p><strong>Contract:</strong> permanent contract / direct placement</p>
