<p><strong>AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICER</strong></p> <p><strong>Stornoway Airport<br /> Scotland</strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking an Air Traffic Control Officer to work at Stornoway Airport which is part of the HIAL group.&nbsp; You must hold an Air Traffic Controller’s Licence issued in accordance with the requirements of the EU Commission Air Traffic Controller Licence Regulation No. 805/2011.&nbsp; Ideally your ATC License should contain a minimum of an ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) rating and an APP (Approach Control Procedural) rating.&nbsp; However, your application will be considered if you hold an ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) rating and you are currently attending an APP (Approach Control Procedural) course at one of the CAA approved ATS Training Colleges.</p> <p>You must also hold a current ICAO Class 3 Aviation Medical Certificate, an English Language Proficiency Certificate at Level 5 or higher.&nbsp; Ideally you should also hold a Met Observers Certificate.</p> <p>We are looking for a team player who can think on his/her feet and who has a flexible approach to working patterns.</p> <p>Your salary during unit training will be £32,622 per annum, increasing to £37,281 pa upon successful ADI/APP validation, with subsequent annual increments up to £46,602 pa. You’ll also be eligible for a shift allowance of 12.5% of basic salary, a MET Observers allowance of £1,170 per annum and membership of our attractive pension scheme. &nbsp;</p> <p>Further information and an application form (no CVs please) are available on the careers section of our website.
