Support Specialist CATIA V5 /SmarTeam - Europe

<p>Provide expert support and troubleshooting for CATIA V5</p> <p>Provide expert support and troubleshooting for SmarTeam</p> <p>Assist in training of new users</p> <p>Assist in requirements gathering and new process rollout</p> <p>Perform testing for patches, migrations, and new functionality rollout</p> <p>Participate and present in User Communication Meetings</p> <p>Prepare Engineering drawings and Documents to comply with all recognized safety, certification, and customer requirements under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, Lead Engineer, or Engineering Supervisor</p> <p>Participate in project aircraft evaluation to develop functional group workscope for Engineering project management approval</p> <p>Review aircraft configuration in order to check workscope feasibility, accuracy and completeness</p> <p>Update the status of the Technical Proposals &amp; Studies on the Quote Status Sheet as required</p> <p>Provide input to the senior engineer so as to complete a Drawing Release Plan for a specific task/project</p> <p>Participate and/or witness tests and prepare the corresponding reports as required</p> <p>Provide input to the senior engineer so as to Update the status of the Project on the Project Status Sheet as required</p> <p>Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives, to simplify process and value added work</p> <p>Participate as a team or project member for other projects requiring Engineering participation as required</p> <p>Comply with the current working and safety regulations</p> <p>Provide Engineering Support to Operations organization as required</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualification/Experience</strong></p> <p>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Aviation)</p> <p>At least three years experience in a Technician 2 job (with Technical Certificate) or first engineering job after university</p> <p>General knowledge of the Aviation Regulations (EASA and/or FAA)</p> <p>Fluent in English (written and spoken). German or French would be beneficial</p> <p>Practical Experience in CATIA V5 application</p> <p>Practical Experience in SmarTeam application is of benefit</p> <p>Knowledge/experience in the following domains can be benefit: mechanical engineering of systems (climate, water, waste-water, oxygen, galleys, electrical wiring, cabinets), composite, aerospace cabin interiors (private aircrafts, VIP), shipbuilding (luxury yachts), car interior (VIP; high end), space</p>
