<p>Jet Professionals, on behalf of our client airline in Asia, have been asked to source suitable candidates for their senior vacancy, <strong>Regional General Manager Airports - Worldwide</strong>.<br /> <br /> <br /> The airline is expanding rapidly and this vacancy is a senior position and would allow the succesful candidate a great deal of authourity to manage all of the airports on the airlines network and grow with the carrier.<br /> <br /> </p> <p><strong>Purpose of Position:</strong></p> <p>Guide airport leadership teams and help develop skill levels of those teams towards a more engaged and proactive position within the airport community and company.</p> <p>Responsible for airline operations, compliance, and financial results throughout the route system.</p> <p>Help develop and implement system wide standards for ground operations customer service and standards for both customer interface and facility experience.</p> <p>Negotiate airport agreements and build relationships between the airline and the airport authorities, leveraging the brand in its route system for favorable incentives or cost advantages where feasible.</p> <p>Negotiate and implement vendor contracts for airport services maximizing customer service value and controlling cost. Set service level agreements consistent with the brand strategy.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Key Result Areas:</strong></p> <p>Helps develop and implement customer service standards for consistent delivery across the route system.</p> <p>Ensure airport and airport team compliance with safety, security and regulatory compliance requirements.</p> <p>Liaises with senior management staff to represent airport issues, opportunities and challenges, to help evaluate effectiveness and efficiency.</p> <p>Develops airport authority relationships worldwide to ensure consistent brand presentation and seek opportunities for decreased operating costs at those airports.</p> <p>Implements brand strategy at airport facility locations to the maximum extent possible for consistent delivery of customer service standards.</p> <p>Sets and achieves operating budgets for the airport division.</p> <p>Reviews and recommends changes in airport operations, airport and vendor relationships to align organization goals and customer service initiatives, position for growth.</p> <p>Manages the efficient and effective management of staff, work task allocation, systems and processes – for a cost effective operation.<br /> <br /> Manages and ensures the safety and security of staff,company property and customers at all times.</p> <p>Manages and achieves revenue through improving airport systems.</p> <p>Management and statutory compliance.</p> <p>Relationship management.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p><strong>Education / Training</strong></p> <p>Diploma or degree in Aviation or Business Finance Management, or equivalent</p> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <p>At least 10 years’ supervisory experience in airport operations.</p> <p>Experience in budget planning and complication</p> <p>Experience with airport / airline liaison functions.</p> <p>Experience with the negotiation and implementation or airport lease agreements, customer service, and good handling providers.</p> <p><strong>Knowledge and Skills</strong></p> <p>Knowledgeable in airline aviation and airport systems</p> <p>Must possess a sound knowledge of airline and operations</p> <p>Well versed with airport handling and procedures</p> <p>Knowledge of the application of regulatory processes</p> <p>High level communication skills to maintain effective and efficient networks and relationships with service providers and aviation stakeholders</p> <p><strong>Statutory Requirements</strong></p> <p>Audits – Airport station operations, IOSA requirements, Dangerous Goods.</p> <p>Safety Management – audit corrective actions, MOR management, and Aviation Quality Database review and follow up, Safety Action Group management and Operations Safety meeting coordinator for Airports.</p> <p>Promulgation – ground handling agreements</p> <p>Performance data (airports) with Flight Operations and Engineering.<br /> <br /> <br /> If you are interested in this vacancy and fulfill the requirements please send your CV to neil.engerran@jet-professionals.ch<br /> </p>
