Senior Structural Engineer for offshore jackets and topsides (m/f) – ref. KV

<p><strong>For our costumer in the </strong><strong>Wind Energy </strong><strong>industry we are looking for a suitable candidate with the following skills:</strong></p> <p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Working in close cooperation with our Chief Structural Engineer</li> <li>Primary tasks will be to develop our next generation designs of jackets and topsides</li> <li>In addition you may be assigned to specific offshore projects to solve defined highly-specialised tasks</li> <li>Furthermore your key-duties will be: participate in project decision gates and safety and technical reviews, develop and set up structural re-analysis systems for our structures, handle integry management and evaluation of structures in operation, improve design basis documents and technical standards for structural designs and fire and safety designs</li> <li>Perform feasibility and concept studies and front-end design and verification of structures</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Master of Science or PhD degree with structural or offshore engineering</li> <li>Extensive experience with design of jackets and topsides from the oil and gas industry including fatigue calculations, wave kinematics and wind action, offshore design codes, finite element analysis, calculation of stress concentrations and ultimate capacity of complex structural details</li> <li>Enjoy working in an international environment</li> <li>Good communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Start:</strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As soon as possible</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Gentofte or Skaerbaek near Fredericia, Denmark</p> <p><strong>Contract:</strong> Permanent contract</p>
