About this role

<p><strong>For our costumer in the SPACE industry we are looking for a suitable candidate with the following skills:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your tasks:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring adequate preparation and execution / coordination of the full payload test campaign (including satellite test campaign)</li> <li>Managing the payload supplier system validation during the payload integration to the satellite platform and during the payload tests</li> <li>Providing payload AIT related planning inputs to the overall satellite schedule and to coordinate planning with the Satellite AIT Manager</li> <li>Ensuring technical coordination within the AIT department of all stakeholders</li> <li>Driving the payload tests in the clean room;&nbsp; to supervise the review of the results and to coordinate the communication to the Payload Manager for issues related to test requirements, verification methodology for non-standard tests and investigations</li> <li>Taking over delegated Quality Assurance tasks like key inspection points, standard inspections, mating logs, as-runs, procedure variations or non-conformance reports as required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Your profile:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experienced RF designer with practical knowledge / experience of complex test campaigns across all phases of a communication satellite tests, with main focus an RF Payload AIT</li> <li>Good knowledge of digital and analogue electronics as well as software protocols</li> <li>Operation of current RF test systems and DC test equipment</li> <li>Ability to interpret test requirements and test results</li> <li>Capable of supervising and coordinating subcontractor test activities</li> <li>Capable of interact within a cross-functional technical team</li> <li>Drive and focus on the delivery of a Telecom Payload Test schedule</li> <li>Degree in Aerospace engineering, space technology, mechanical engineering or comparable qualification</li> <li>At least 5 years of professional experience in similar industry, extensive experience in the satellite AIT or test field would be advantage</li> <li>High level of analysis skills enabling the Payload AIT Engineer to act as focal point in the context of investigations</li> <li>Able to present technical data to peers and project managers in coherent manner</li> <li>Good communication skills (English is mandatory, German is an asset)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Start:</strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;As soon as possible</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Bremen, Germany</p> <p><strong>Contract:</strong> Permanent contract / temporary contract / freelancer</p>
