Head of Safety & Security (Airline)

<p><strong>Jet Professionals</strong> on behalf of their client are inviting applications for “<strong>Head of Safety &amp; Security</strong>”. This is a fulltime role and will require relocation to client’s base.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p>The Head of Safety &amp; Security is ultimately responsible for the oversight and effectiveness of the airline corporate safety and aviation security programs throughout its entire international and domestic route system. In order to accomplish these objectives, the Head of S &amp; S must ensure that the Department’s strategic vision, business goals, and financial objectives are aligned and fully support those of the airline. Further, the Head of S &amp; S must continually scan the global air transport industry in order to detect developing business, operational, and technical trends to ensure that the airlines safety and security program are fully prepared to support future challenges.</p> <p>The position’s specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of all ground safety, industrial safety and health, occupational injuries, flight safety, emergency response planning, internal and external auditing functions, incident and accident investigations, safety data management, management and administration of the Flight Operations Quality Assurance Program, domestic and international aviation security,</p> <p>Additional duties include, but are not limited to, representation of the airlines interests to international and domestic government regulatory authorities, international and domestic accident investigation boards, international and regional trade organizations.</p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p>Bachelor’s degree or above</p> <p>Fluent English speaker</p> <p>5 plus years of airline safety experience</p> <p><strong>Preferred</strong></p> <p>Previous IATA/ICAO experience</p> <p>ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License) holder</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Interested can send their detailed CV along with a motivational letter to <a href="mailto:ashley.bob@jet-professionals.ch">ashley.bob@jet-professionals.ch</a></p> <p><strong>Only Shortlisted candidates will be contacted</strong></p>
