About this role
<p>Main activities:</p> <p>- Creation of stability confirmation for assemblies and complex structures<br /> - Creation of the FE models of computation<br /> - Determination of design loads and load combinations<br /> - Definition of constructive measures based on the structural analysis<br /> - Cooperation with the Department of Design and the Department run dynamics<br /> - Setting up of test plans for implementing the requirements of the specifications, standards and legal requirements<br /> Inter alia creation of measuring programs - to determine the stresses from the operation<br /> - Line of endurance, testing of bogie frame and components<br /> - Preparation of reports and evaluation of test results<br /> - Presentation of results at the end customer, a technical commission or regulatory authority<br /> - Calculation of the vibration behavior of attachments and representation of improvement measures.<br /> - Creation of fracture mechanics calculations to axles<br /> - Fatigue calculations<br /> - Preparation and planning of the necessary component documentation and tests</p> <p>qualifications</p> <p>Requirements and capabilities:</p> <p>- Successfully completed studies at a technical university in mechanical engineering with a focus on Engineering Mechanics and Vibration Control Technology or equivalent<br /> - Good knowledge in the field of fracture mechanics and fatigue<br /> - Ideally some experience in rail vehicle engineering<br /> - Strong team player<br /> - Very good English spoken and written</p>
