<p>As an engineering company providing services to customers across the globe, we are constantly looking for experienced Aerospace Engineers from all disciplines, for both permanent and contract positions.</p> <p>We are currently recruiting for a contract position:<br /> <br /> Aircraft Performance Engineer (m/f) - Canada<br /> <br /> Description:<br /> As part of the Flight Sciences Group, you will perform various task to support aircraft development phase and/or the aircraft certification phase and/or the aircraft operational in-service phase.</p> <p>Tasks:<br /> More specifically you will be in charge of:<br /> - Calculation, analysis and documentation of certified and/or operational aircraft performance data. Development, validation and documentation of aircraft performance software.<br /> - Prepare and support wind tunnel testing as well as flight testing.<br /> - Analyse and process test data.<br /> - Write reports demonstrating compliance with airworthiness regulations.<br /> - Support requests from marketing, contracts and operators.</p> <p>Qualification and knowledge:<br /> To be considered for this opportunity you will need to hold a Bachelor degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering or equivalent.<br /> Basic knowledge or some experience in wind tunnel testing, flight testing, test data analysis and the application of the FAA part 25 certification would be an asset.<br /> You have good programming skills (C++, Fortran, Visual Basic).<br /> Knowledge of a UNIX operating system environment, PV-Wave, Frame Maker and Windows (Word, Excel) would be an asset.<br /> You have also good written and oral and communication skills in French and English.<br /> <br /> We are looking forward to receiving your online application including an up-to-date CV and details of your earliest availability.</p>
