<img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/YXdpc2UuNDQxNjAuNDI0QHNpZ21hYXZpYXRpb25zZXJ2aWNlcy5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif" /><br /><p>A large and established aviation firm is seeking to recruit a Technical Quality Assurance Manager/Specialist for a permanent role.</p><p>The successful candidate will play an essential role in the maintenance of quality systems and ensure the delivery of the highest standards of quality assurance and safety. Key responsibilities include the ongoing development of a solid quality assurance system, fit for purpose and cost effective.</p><p>The Technical Quality Assurance Manager will lead the Technical Quality Assurance Department in performing the oversight function of relevant organisations in order to comply with EASA requirements.</p><p>Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:</p><p>-Establishing and maintaining an independent Technical Quality Assurance Programme to monitor compliance with industry regulations</p><p>-Developing and monitoring the department budget</p><p>-Organizing manpower and resources to complete the Technical Quality Assurance Programme, ensuring Quality Inspectors are available to carry out auditing and monitoring functions</p><p>-Monitoring compliance with maintenance procedures, contained in the relevant documentation, through the implementation of a Quality Audit Programme</p><p>-Ensuring corrective actions resulting from the Audit Programme are accomplished</p><p>-Processing aircraft certification and company approvals in accordance with regulatory requirements</p><p>-Organising training to ensure a sufficient number of qualified inspectors can complete the quality plan</p><p> </p><p>Requirements for Candidates:</p><p>-Have served a recognised apprenticeship or hold a maintenance engineer's licence in aircraft engineering, or alternatively hold a primary engineering degree or an equivalent business qualification</p><p>-Comprehensive knowledge of the aviation regulatory system (EU, EASA, FAA, etc)</p><p>-Have comprehensive knowledge of the SMS system and regulatory framework</p><p>-Budgeting experience</p><p>-Commercial acumen - understands how the maintenance and engineering function operates Hold a Full Clean Driving Licence</p><p>-Fluent in English, both written and spoken</p><p>-Eligible to live and work in the EU</p><p>-Excellent communication skills - ability to give constructive and specific feedback</p><p>-Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, both on own initiative and contributing to a team</p><p>-Proven problem solving and decision making skills</p><p>-Experience in leading and managing people preferable</p><p> </p><p>On offer is an exciting role with technical and regulatory challenges, a competitive salary and benefits package.</p><p>If you are interested in this position or have any queries please contact Amy on email ID awise@sigmaaviationservices.com</p><p>IF YOU DO NOT MEET ALL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE.</p>
