<p>Jersey Air Traffic Control offers a unique, challenging and varied environment in which the successful candidate has the opportunity to work in Jersey Tower, Jersey Approach Radar and provide a Terminal Control radar service to Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney as well as flights transiting the Channel Island Control Zone.<br /> <br /> It would be desirable for the applicant to have experience of working at a busy airfield or centre operating inside controlled airspace.</p> <p><strong>Each applicant shall hold a current ATC Licence issued in accordance with EU Directive 2006/23/EC, this shall include ADI and APS ratings.</strong></p> <p><strong>The applicant will be required to have an English Language proficiency endorsement of Level 6</strong></p> <p><strong>Each applicant must hold a valid European Class 3 Medical Certificate. </strong><br /> <br /> The new Jersey Air Traffic Control Centre was opened in June 2010 and is a latest state of the art building with 21st century equipment including electronic flight strips, electronic co-ordination and Mode S radar.<br /> <br /> Jersey Airport would therefore like to invite applications for the post of <strong>Air Traffic Control Officer</strong> within its Air Traffic Control Department.<br /> <br /> Jersey is a beautiful Island and offers an idyllic and safe place to live with a low tax environment.<br /> <br /> A competitive remuneration package is available.
