<p><strong>AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICERs<br /> STORNOWAY AND KIRKWALL AIRPORTS</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary: Previously validated ATCO (ADI/APP) starting at £37,281 and rising to £46,602 per annum.<br /> Plus 12.5% shift allowance and MET Observers allowance of £1,170 per annum.</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary: Trainee ATCO (ADI/APP) is £32,622 per annum during unit training. The above mentioned rates will then apply following successful validation of ADI/APP rating.</strong></p> <p>This is an exciting time to join our Scottish island based Airports, in a challenging and exciting role. </p> <p>Ideally you should hold an ATCO Licence issued in accordance with the EU Commission Air Traffic Controller Licence Regulation No. 805/2011 containing a minimum of ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) and APP (Approach Control Procedural) ratings. You’ll also hold a current ICAO Class 3 Aviation Medical Certificate and an English Language Proficiency Certificate at minimum Level 5, ideally Level 6. A Met Observers Certificate is desirable but not essential.</p> <p>We are also willing to consider applications from applicants who hold a valid Student ATCO License which has been issued by the UK CAA with an ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) and an APP (Approach Control Procedural) rating.</p> <p>You should be able to think on your feet whilst maintaining a flexible approach to working patterns which includes weekends and unsocial hours.
