<p><strong>AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL OFFICER<br /> SUMBURGH AIRPORT</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary:&nbsp; Previously validated ATCO (ADI) starting at £37,281 and rising to £46,602 per annum. &nbsp;<br /> Plus 12.5% shift allowance and MET Observers allowance of £1,170 per annum.</strong></p> <p><strong>Salary: Trainee ATCO (ADI) is £32,622 per annum during unit training progressing to rates above following successful validation of ADI rating.</strong></p> <p>This is an exciting time to join our rapidly growing and developing Airport in this challenging and exciting role.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>Ideally you should hold an ATCO Licence issued in accordance with the EU Commission Air Traffic Controller Licence Regulation No. 805/2011 containing a minimum of ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) ratings.&nbsp;&nbsp; You’ll also hold a current ICAO Class 3 Aviation Medical Certificate and an English Language Proficiency Certificate at minimum Level 5, ideally Level 6.&nbsp; A Met Observers Certificate is desirable but not essential.</p> <p>We are also willing to consider applications from applicants who hold a valid Student ATCO License with a minimum of an ADI (Aerodrome Control Instrument) rating which has been issued by the UK CAA.</p> <p>You should be able to think on your feet whilst maintaining a flexible approach to working patterns which includes weekends and unsocial hours.&nbsp;&nbsp; We offer loss of license insurance, an attractive pension scheme and a generous annual leave allowance in return.</p> <p>Further information and an application form (no CVs please) are available on the careers section of our website via the 'Apply now Button'<br /> <strong>The closing date for applications is noon on Friday 15th November 2013.</strong></p>
