About this role

My client has a requirement for an Aeromechanical Engineer to start work in Cambridgeshire, UK.<br /><br />This position is due to be long term and could last up to 3 years, possibly longer.<br /><br />The successful candidate will work in an engineering team consisting of 5-6 people.<br /><br />Responsibilities;<br /><br />Provide direction and oversight to sub-contractors for Aeromechanical matters <br /><br />Provide technical support to an aircraft program by monitoring the work performed<br />by the subcontractor on design, manufacturing and testing of Mechanical matters<br />(e.g. 3D A/C model, mechanical drawings, conceptual design, installation of<br />mission systems, etc.)<br /><br />Coordinate within the team, to ensure all mechanical considerations are<br />addressed <br /><br />Education/ Certification Requirements; <br /><br />Bachelor&amp;#8217;s degree in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering. Advanced degree<br />(Masters) - would be a plus<br /><br />Skills and Experience; <br /><br />Field operational experience in the installation of payloads within and outside<br />airborne platforms<br /><br />Experience in 3D design in CATIA and drawings release<br /><br />Familiar with stress analyses<br /><br />Experience with airborne racks&amp;#8217; design - a plus<br /><br />Experience with airborne qualification (vibration, shock&amp;#8230;)<br /><br />Familiar with thermal analyses (airborne environmental systems, thermal<br />design&amp;#8230;)<br /><br />Over 5 years of direct experience in Mechanical Engineering<br /><br />Good interpersonal and communications skills and must be fluent in English<br /><br />Please send your CV along with any supporting certificates to the email address<br />below, successful candidates will be contacted in due course.<br /><br />lauren.f.a4lif8mspyu@resourcegroup.aptrack.co.uk
