My client has a requirement for a Systems Engineer to start work in Cambridgeshire, UK.<br /><br />This position is due to be long term and could last up to 3 years, possibly longer.<br /><br />The successful candidate will work in an engineering team consisting of 5-6 people.<br /><br />Responsibilities<br /><br />Provide technical support to the aircraft program by monitoring the work performed by the<br />subcontractor on design, manufacturing and testing of Aircraft Systems (e.g. avionic systems, communication systems, etc.)<br /><br />To be knowledgeable in aircraft systems and to provide solutions to the other teams in the project<br /><br />Support in mission systems installation in the aircraft<br /><br />Education / Certification Requirements<br /><br />Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering. Advanced degree (Masters or) a plus<br /><br /> Skills and Experience<br /><br />Field operational experience in the installation of electrical/avionics systems on an air platform<br /><br /> Familiar with Aircraft electrical and avionics modifications, analyses, testing (e.g. co-site, EMI/EMC, etc.)<br /><br />Over 5 years of direct experience in the Avionics and / or Electrical Engineering on<br />aircraft<br /><br />Interpersonal and communications skills and fluent in English<br /><br />Please send your CV along with supporting certifiactes to the email address below;<br /><br />lauren.f.a4lif8mspzg@resourcegroup.aptrack.co.uk
