My client has a requirement for a Projects Coordinator to start work in Cambridgeshire, UK.<br /><br />This position is due to be long term and could last up to 3 years, possibly longer.<br /><br />The successful candidate will work in an engineering team consisting of 5-6<br />people.<br /><br /> Reporting to: Aircraft Project Manager <br /><br />Position Summary ;<br /><br />Working in an aircraft modification programme, the Projects Coordinator will;<br /><br />Assist in the technical coordination and administration of the projects under his control. Ideally a Graduate with some experience in aircraft or engineering project work, good organizational, IT and communication skills are essential to this role.<br /><br />Responsibilities&amp;#183;<br /><br /> Support Project Managers (PMs) with production of routine reports and presentations (internal and customer), track budget and risk databases.<br /><br /> Support PMs with production and maintenance of schedules, change control and action logs, etc.<br /><br /> Assist with the production of reports on project spend to assist with budget reporting and control.<br /><br /> Produce plans, presentations and Customer Interface Documents, carry out reviews and updates.<br /><br /> Liaise with QA with regards to Project Quality audit plans and coordinate work schedules within the project.<br /><br /> Support and assist in administration of PMs monthly reviews.<br /><br />Coordination of meeting and work schedules between PMs and the vendors/providers of work under company contracts<br /><br /> Follow local procedures and company work instructions <br /><br />Assist with customer liaison including administration of customer visits, meetings, presentations etc.<br /><br />Education / Certification Requirements:<br /><br /> Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in a relevant disciplines<br /><br />Skills and Experience<br /><br /> Experience within aerospace or engineering programs is highly desirable<br /><br />Personal competencies<br /><br /> Confident and diplomatic with an ability to create and foster working relationships internally and externally at all levels of the business.<br /><br /> Self-motivated with the ability to produce accurate work under pressure while continuing to meet deadlines.<br /><br /> A keen interest in aviation matters would be beneficial.
