<p><strong>Project Manager (One vacancy)</strong><br /> <br /> <u><strong>This post may include long-term posting to the United Arab Emirates</strong></u><br /> <br /> <u>Job Description</u><br /> In your role as Project Manager you will typically be undertaking the following range of tasks:-</p> <ul> <li>Prepare a structured Project Plan for comprising of a Product Breakdown Structure, Work Breakdown Structure, Gantt Chart and Dependency Network;</li> <li>Define the organisation, resource requirements, hard and soft skills required of the resources to deliver the project;</li> <li>Manage and monitor the project plan to ensure successful completion of the plan activities and delivery of the project on schedule;</li> <li>Define, manage and monitor the budget to ensure that the project is delivered within budget;</li> <li>Produce and maintain project schedules;</li> <li>Establish, implement and manage processes and procedures covering configuration management, including Change Control, Risk and Issues Management, Documentation Management;</li> <li>Create and maintain Project Issue logs;</li> <li>Create and maintain Project Action logs;</li> <li>Create and maintain Project Risk and Opportunity registers ensuring that mitigations and action plans are identified;</li> <li>Be responsible for on-time and on-budget delivery;</li> <li>Assist with contract negotiation with Customers and sub-contractors;</li> <li>Write regular client Project Progress Reports that cover progress to date against base-lined schedules, base-lined budgets, Risk and Opportunity status, Issue Log status and Action Log status;</li> <li>Assist in the preparation of bid documents by collating schedules and budget from Work Package managers including sub-contractors;</li> <li>Attend sites to provide on-site support and expertise while work is being undertaken by customers or their contractors;</li> <li>Develop good working relationships with potential clients and Airport Air Navigation Equipment suppliers to help secure future business;</li> </ul> <p><u>Educational Requirements</u></p> <p>As a minimum, qualified to degree level;</p> <p>Desirable to have:-</p> <ul> <li>a Masters or higher degree or related discipline;</li> <li>Chartered status.</li> </ul> <p><u>Language Requirements</u></p> <p>As a minimum, applicants must be able to speak and write in English to Common European Framework level C1</p> <p>Desirable to have:-</p> <ul> <li>Ability to speak and write in one other European language to Common European Framework level B1.</li> <li>Ability to speak Arabic Common European Framework level B1.</li> </ul> <p><u>The ideal project manager will also have:-</u></p> <ul> <li>Enthusiasm.</li> <li>Passion.</li> <li>Energy.</li> <li>Commitment to excellence.</li> <li>Commitment to success.</li> <li>The ability to motivate his/her team.</li> <li>Self-motivation.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills.</li> <li>Good negotiation skills.</li> <li>Honesty.</li> <li>Openness.</li> <li>Approachability.</li> <li>Empathy.</li> </ul> <p><strong>To apply please click on the 'Apply now' button</strong></p>
