<p><strong>Helicopter Pilot<br /> Salary range £54,449 - £63,058<br /> Bristol Airport</strong></p> <p>Western Power Distribution Helicopter Unit is a leader in the provision of low level patrol services to the UK electricity industry. We are&nbsp; looking for a suitably qualified Pilot to join our operation based at Bristol Airport.<br /> <br /> <strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A JAR / EASA Commercial Pilot’s License endorsed for EC135</li> <li>2000 Minimum Total Helicopter Hours</li> <li>500 Minimum Multi Engine Helicopter Hours</li> <li>To relocate, if necessary, to live within 45 minutes of the Unit.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p> <ul> <li>EC 135 TRI / TRE endorsement.</li> <li>A background in Police/ Air ambulance/ Military.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Responsible for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>All appropriate flying duties and the safety briefing of passengers.</li> <li>Liaising with customers on the services provided by the Helicopter Unit.</li> <li>Maintaining appropriate records.</li> <li>Liaising with Civil and Military airfields.</li> <li>Dealing with any customer concerns regarding low flying/noise/damage.</li> <li>Daily inspections and role changes on aircraft.</li> <li>Unit Administration Tasks.</li> </ul> <p>You will be required to work away from base (usually one week in every four) and you will be required to work overtime, including some weekends to meet business needs.</p> <p><strong>Closing date: 24th January 2014<br /> <br /> Applicants should be directed to our website by clicking on the 'Apply now' button&nbsp; to apply</strong></p>
