<p><strong>REQUEST FOR COSTED PROPOSAL TO OPERATE AND MANAGE DASSAULT FALCON 900EX EASY2 REGISTRATION GSIRO</strong></p> <p>Proposals are invited for the complete operation and management of Falcon 900EX, Registration GSIRO.&nbsp; Tenders are to conform with the basic requirements and information shown below.</p> <p><strong>Aircraft</strong></p> <p>GSIRO is owned by Condor Aviation LLP and used only by Sir Robert Ogden, the owner of Condor Aviation.</p> <p>GSIRO was delivered in May 2007 and has accumulated 800 airframe and engine hours in 6 years of use.&nbsp; The C1 check was completed by Dassault on 25 September 2013.</p> <p>GSIRO is covered by Falconcare until September 2019 and is enrolled on the Honeywell MSP Gold scheme.</p> <p>Aircraft avionics were upgraded to Easy2 standard during the C1 check.</p> <p><strong>Operations</strong></p> <p>The aircraft is to be operated to all relevant CAA and EU regulations and the successful applicant is responsible for advising Condor Aviation on the regulations and their compliance.</p> <p>The quote is to be based on a flying rate of approximately 120 hours per year, but the quoted cost is to cover occasional flying rates of up to 150 hours per year.</p> <p>The aircraft is not currently operated under an AOC, but if by doing so it could be shown conclusively that the overall costs would be lower, it would be considered.</p> <p>The aircraft does not have a permanent base, but, when in UK it is most often operated from Leeds/Bradford.</p> <p>About 40% of the hours flown annually are within Europe, mostly between UK and France, or within UK.&nbsp; The remainder of the hours flown annually are worldwide in coordination with the unscheduled movements of Sir Robert’s private yacht.</p> <p>The successful applicant will make all flight planning arrangements, book airfield slots, handling arrangements, and apply for crew visas and diplomatic flight clearances where required.&nbsp; This includes arrangement of hotels and limousines when required.</p> <p><strong>Costs</strong></p> <p>The aircraft is to be managed so as to limit the cost to the minimum required for safe operation.</p> <p>Applicants are to make proposals for reducing overall costs and operating charges in the eventuality that the aircraft is not required to fly for periods in excess of two months. This is to include but is not limited to pilot’s salaries.</p> <p><strong>Crew</strong></p> <p>Whilst it is desirable that dedicated and specified pilots are nominated to fly the aircraft this may not be cost effective. Applicants are to consider providing freelancers or pilots from a shared pool.</p> <p>Pilots are to be experienced and fully qualified and licenced to fly the Falcon 900EX upgraded to Easy2 standard.</p> <p>Cabin crew are not required.</p> <p>Crews will normally be given at least 48 hours notice of a flight.</p> <p>Crews may be required to remain with the aircraft at the destination if further in-country flights are anticipated.&nbsp; Otherwise they will reposition back to UK by commercial air to be recalled when required. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Maintenance</strong></p> <p>The quote is to include a full CAMO agreement in accordance with EASA Part M.</p> <p>The applicant is to manage the aircraft, its operation and documentation, and to ensure that maintenance and reporting is carried out to the standard required by the CAA, in accordance with approved maintenance schedules, airworthiness directives and service bulletins.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The applicant will be required to carry out all reporting required by regulation to CAA and EU authorities concerning matters such as, but not limited to, carbon trading and emission control.</p> <p>The applicant is to continuously monitor and audit Falconcare, and any third party maintenance organisation and their procedures, reporting to Condor Aviation any concerns they may have about their handling of the maintenance of the aircraft.</p> <p>The applicant is to monitor any additional routine maintenance and rectification not covered by Falconcare and to ensure that it is performed to the highest possible standards.</p> <p>The applicant is to keep records and technical documents up to date as required by regulations and liaise with other third party organisations and Dassault Aviation with regard to the Falconcare programme for maintenance input and spares requirement.&nbsp; They will also supply the inputs required by Honeywell to maintain the MSP, and make the reports required by the ET Registry and other EU emissions trading regulations.</p> <p><strong>Contract</strong></p> <p>The contract start date will be 27 March 2014 and will initially run for 2 years, with either party permitted to terminate the contract without penalty by giving 3 month’s notice in writing.</p> <p><strong>To apply please click on the 'Apply now' button</strong></p>
