Senior Vice President - dnata Cargo

<p>&nbsp;<br /> <strong>Job Purpose</strong><br /> &nbsp;<br /> Plan and direct the provision of safe, efficient and sustainably profitable cargo handling services at DXB &amp; DWC, delivering service levels which meet or exceed customer expectations.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> The job holder will define and deliver long term strategy for cargo operations in Dubai, whilst fulfilling dnata’s vision to be the world’s most admired air services provider.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> <strong>Job Accountabilities</strong><br /> •Direct and lead the development and implementation of strategies and plans to ensure that cargo activities in the UAE meet revenue, cost and profitability targets.<br /> •Ensure that all cargo handling activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best in class safety and service standards.<br /> •Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with Emirates, Fly Dubai, support departments and other organisations operating at Dubai International and Dubai World Central Airports to ensure overall business objectives are met. Interact and influence the unit’s customers, world-wide business partners and service providers to develop and improve business relationships.<br /> •Ensure that the recruitment, development, organisation and motivation of cargo staff is managed to achieve agreed and established business objectives.<br /> •Provide thought leadership and ensure quality objectives are defined and communicated to the business and ensure they are achieved by appropriate monitoring and measurement processes; establish a framework of continuous improvement in accordance with industry benchmarks and best practice.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong><br /> •Masters Degree (12+5 or equivalent) - Graduate level education and desirably a post graduate qualification.<br /> •15+ years extensive experience of all aspects of cargo operations and of leading, large numbers of professional, skilled, and semi-skilled staff.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> <strong>Knowledge/Skills:</strong><br /> •Excellent knowledge of all aspects of cargo operations, as well as strong business acumen to oversee all aspects of each company's business.</p> <p><br /> <strong>Salary &amp; Benefits:</strong><br /> We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
