About this role
<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p> <p>The successful candidate will provide technical services for the Emirates aircraft fleet to ensure that they achieve a high standard of performance and technical despatch reliability once in revenue service.</p> <p>Provides technical services for upgrade and modification of aircraft in revenue service and responsible for the following:-</p> <p>•Evaluation of all manufacturers/regulatory authority documents e.g. ADs; SBs; SILs; All Operators Telexes; by completing Technical Documents Review form and follow-up action by issuing appropriate documents such as E.O.; SEWC; EAN; Technical Notices and AMS amendments.<br /> •Preparation of cost benefit studies on major modifications and detailed Engineering Orders for incorporation on approval of management.<br /> •Arranging Engineering Modification Committee Meetings for the respective area so that timely action is initiated as required.<br /> •Monitoring high component removal rate and initiate follow up action to improve component and system reliability.</p> <p><br /> Qualifications & Experience</p> <p>•Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence for 5 years.<br /> •8 years overall experience of which a minimum of 5 years in Technical Services function of which at least 3 years at Emirates type fleet.<br /> •Thorough knowledge of latest technical developments and industry trends on respective Systems.<br /> •Ability to analyse and synthesise the technical information for implementation in cost effective ways</p> <p>Salary & Benefits:<br /> We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
