<p><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p> <p>To plan, organise and arrange work packages ahead of maintenance input and adjust the plan during the input in response to circumstances as they develop, in order to ensure on time check completion and productivity of resources. Ensure availability of spares, materials and tools as required, for the maintenance check by effective information, feedback, planning, co-ordination and control.</p> <p><br /> 2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS</p> <p>•Review and plan work packs received from Maintenance Planning/Engine Planning into working zones/trades for proper and smooth execution of maintenance input.<br /> •Follow-up on documents (SR, EO etc) required for the maintenance of components with ETS and Engine/Maintenance Planning.<br /> •Segregate the packages into daily activities and ensure visibility of check progress. Highlight major defects and developments of the check to the Workshop Engineer through effective and timely communication.<br /> •Monitor the check progress and prepare daily zone wise reports, listing progress of all tasks for the day in order to provide feedback and follow up. <br /> •Ensure availability of routine spares for planned maintenance functions for the following day and ensuring spares are placed in the pre-load area. Advise Workshop Engineer/Materials section of shortages in spares found at the time of material preview / collection.<br /> •Investigate alternate/interchangeable/superseded, next higher assay (NHA), sub assembly, raw material or repair possibility for NIL/NSU (No Set Up) spares before creating a shortage for them and inform the Workshop Engineer.</p> <p><br /> Additional department specific requirements include:<br /> <br /> •Conducts end to end project management of large or multiple large projects.<br /> •Works as a team member or runs individual projects and is responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline and budget.<br /> •Defines project scope and objectives, coordinates activities of a project team, and identifies resources.<br /> •Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. <br /> •Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables<br /> <br /> </p> <p>Qualifications & Experience<br /> Qualifications:</p> <p> </p> <p>Vocational or Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) in Engineering (preferably in Aeronautical Engineering)</p> <p>Experience: </p> <p> </p> <p>5+ yrs experience in an engine or production planning environment.</p> <p> <br /> Knowledge/skills:</p> <p> </p> <p>Fully conversant with aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, CMM, SRM, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules. <br /> Understanding of aircraft/power plant systems and components. <br /> Sound knowledge of computer applications (e.g. MS Office). Knowledge of Ultramain is required. Familiar with aircraft regulatory requirements and legislation.</p> <p>Salary & Benefits:<br /> We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
