About this role

<p>Job Purpose<br /> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Manage the long term business improvement strategy of dnata Cargo by continually reviewing both the strategic and operational practices and processes, and identifying more efficient, practical and productive ways of conducting business.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Key contributor within the management team to design and implement cross departmental strategic and productivity improvements including but not limited to resource and equipment planning, facilities management, financial analysis, long-term planning, quality, environment &amp; safety systems management, standards &amp; procedures, special regulations &amp; control, IT support and coordination.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Indirectly manage both internal business units and external stakeholders to gain acceptance and participation with agreed projects and process changes.<br /> &nbsp;<br /> Job Outline<br /> •Formulate strategic medium &amp; long term resources planning forecasts. Maintain, update and monitor the plan, accounting for changing requirements of the business by way of monthly forecast analysis of volume, resources to be deployed and productivity to be achieved. Ensure rostering of forecast hours through close liaison with administration and outsource labour contractors by way of providing day and shift level deployment plans. Through contract management and monthly reviews strategically plan and manage the outsourced labour suppliers to ensure cost and productivity optimisation.<br /> •Identify, recommend and project manage industry best practice improvements to systems, processes and structures to enhance operational effectiveness.&nbsp; Lead and support change processes in conjunction with strategic business plans. Take the lead role in the management of agreed business improvement projects through to implementation. Responsible for the coordination and completion of dnata Cargo facilities projects by conducting feasibility studies and providing a detailed analysis of the projects.</p> <p><br /> &nbsp;Qualifications &amp; Experience</p> <p>•Degree of Honours (12+3 or equivalent)<br /> •10+ years relevant industry experience preferably with a major airline or ground handling company<br /> Knowledge/Skills:<br /> •Management experience with an international airline or ground handling agent.<br /> •Effective influencing skills, project management, business finance awareness.</p> <p><br /> Salary &amp; Benefits:<br /> We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
