About this role
<p>Your area of responsibilities encompasses the management of complex analysis projects for the prototype design of test vehicles for aero-thermal components of aircraft engines and industry gas turbines. You will act as technical manager, who controls and coordinates the analysis team during the calculation and simulation carried out both for individual components and complex assemblies. Along side your team is an experienced design team leader with his team and a chief engineer who acts across all disciplines.</p> <p>You will provide optimal analysis solutions by giving the engineers advice based on your expertise and specialized knowledge, whilst performing calculations and simulations yourself. You also ensure that an expert network is in your area of responsibilities to resolve technical issues, so an optimal process flow is ensured. For your department and your team you check the technical progress beyond the planning time and costs. In addition, you manage analysis projects in close cooperation with our customers.</p> <p>Considerable experience / qualifications in Mechanical Engineering are required with specialized knowledge in the areas of analysis, especially of turbomachinery, in many years of professional experience. An in-depth knowledge of fluid machinery (aircraft engines / industry gas turbines) and desire to share your knowledge to others. Experience of Engine Rigs is highly desirable. Detailed software experience / knowledge (ANSYS, DyRoBeS, PATRAN, SCO3). Fluent English in speaking and writing .</p> <p>Candidates must hold the right to live and work in Germany (EU passport Holders). This position may be offered on either a contract or permanent basis.</p>
