<p>Lead Design Engineer - Turbo Machinery.</p> <p>Your area of responsibilities encompasses the management of complex design projects for the prototype design of test vehicles for aero-thermal components of aircraft engines and industry gas turbines. You will act as technical manager, which controls and coordinates the design team from concept to completion of design documentation and its commissioning. Next to your team is an experienced analysis team leader with his team and a chief engineer who acts across all disciplines.</p> <p>You will provide optimal design solutions by giving the engineers advices based on your expertise and specialized knowledge, whilst making drafts of individual modules or solutions by yourself. You also ensure that your team, networked via our manufacturing specialists with the production, developed solutions, which form an optimal balance between cost and risk. For your area of responsibility and your team you check the technical progress beyond the planning time and costs. In addition, you manage design projects in close cooperation with customers.</p> <p>Considerable experience / qualifications in Mechanical Engineering are required with specialized knowledge in the areas of Design, especially of turbomachinery, in many years of professional working. You also have in-depth knowledge of fluid machinery (aircraft engines / industry gas turbines) and want to share your knowledge to others. Expected detailed knowledge and use of CAD Siemens NX. Fluent English in speaking and writing .</p> <p>Candidates must hold the right to live and work in Germany. This position may be offered on either a contract or permanent basis.</p>
