Technical Author - Germany

<p>Our client requires an experienced Technical Author&nbsp;from an&nbsp;Aerospace background to support key Aero Engine projects&nbsp;at their Munich Head Quarters. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: &nbsp;</p> <p>Creation and rework of technical documentation for the Assembly / Disassembly, maintenance, repair of civilian aircraft engines (Engine Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance and&nbsp;CIR Manuals). &nbsp;</p> <p>Creation of service bulletins from information provided by the Customer Technical Support department. &nbsp;</p> <p>Collaboration with operational units with the organisation (Engineering and Customer Support). &nbsp;</p> <p>Collaboration and coordination with the clients. &nbsp;</p> <p>Participation in internal and external meetings at client and customer/supplier offices. &nbsp;</p> <p>Processing Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC). &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: &nbsp;</p> <p>Completed technical studies as an apprentice or similar training with a relevant organisation. &nbsp;</p> <p>Knowledge of the relevant technical requirements for the creation of technical documentation and Illustrations ~&nbsp;SGML / XML, ATA iSpec2200 and ASD S1000D Version 4.1. &nbsp;</p> <p>Knowledge of editing and illustration programs&nbsp;~ Arbortext Editor, Iso - Draw, Quicksilver etc. &nbsp;</p> <p>Knowledge of the creation of documentation in Simplified English ASD- STE100. &nbsp;</p> <p>Knowledge of SGML and XML standards. &nbsp;</p> <p>Ability to describe and graphically represent complex technical processes and procedures. &nbsp;</p> <p>Fluent written and verbal&nbsp;English language skills. &nbsp;</p> <p>EU Member Citizenship.</p>
