<p>Specialised Fabrication Designer - Siemens NX CAD.</p> <p>Our Client in Germany requires additional Design Support. Candidates must have good experience using Siemens NX CAD tool and preferably Teamcentre. Candidates require experience &nbsp;of designing Aero Engine / Gas Turbine associated installation structures and assemblies.</p> <p>Task description:</p> <p>Develop design solutions and compile requisite documentation.&nbsp;<br /> Define design solutions for installations parts and assemblies (e.g. Fairings, Unit Installation Brackets, Structural Composite Ducts, Exhaust Components) according to project requirements and engineering standards.&nbsp;<br /> Agree design solutions with relevant experts, e.g. Stress, Materials, Aero, Fire&amp;Vent, Validation, Service Engineering etc. and document in Design Definition Reports.&nbsp;<br /> Create 3D models for use within engine DMU.&nbsp;<br /> Create detail drawings from 3D models for manufacturing assessment and final release for production .</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace or equivalent.&nbsp;<br /> Good knowledge of engine design processes and specification system.&nbsp;<br /> Good 3D modelling skills in Siemens NX, preferably experience with complex surfaces and/or NX bracket tool.&nbsp;<br /> Good knowledge of drawing creation and interpretation specifically geometric tolerancing.&nbsp;<br /> Experience with sheet metal and/or composite fabrication appreciated.<br /> Generic knowledge of design process steps including basic knowledge of Product Data Management and Product Lifecycle Management (Teamcenter) appreciated .<br /> Basic knowledge of Project Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management .<br /> Fluent English written and spoken.</p> <p><br /> Candidates must hold the right to live and work in Germany for this position ( EU Passport holders).</p>
