<p>A Project Manager with engineering experience in the aviation sector is required in Switzerland. Their prime responsibilities will be to manage the schedule and coordination of assigned maintenance projects to ensure progress to schedule, information flow to the customer, internal efficiencies and timely and accurate customer invoicing, in accordance with the Company's procedures and policies, including the Compliance Policy</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Project manager</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and supervise duties and tasks of the assigned Project teams</li> <li>Establish and manage planning, work orders, work package preparation and follow-up of the maintenance projects</li> <li>In consultation with the Head of Engineering, review the availability of all personnel, material, equipment and tools which are required to accomplish the work in accordance with the Company's procedures and workload plan</li> <li>Ensure, upon completion of the work, that all requested maintenance has been completed or deferred (with customer consent) and that all required documentation has been properly signed and certified.</li> <li>Establish work reports for the customers and concerned Aviation Authorities</li> <li>Per project, ensure strong lines of communication are established with the customer's representative to provide regular progress reporting (single point of contact).</li> <li>Establish procedures to track profitability of individual projects</li> <li>Handle, investigate and close out customer complaints</li> <li>Provide intelligence to the sales team for prospective future work inputs</li> <li>Initiate further steps which may be required after the establishment of the work program, and coordinate the review and approval of estimated costs with the customer</li> <li>Manage and administrate warranty procedures for the Company and on behalf of the customer</li> <li>Raise and review invoices established for customers</li> <li>Provide various reports and analyses</li> <li>Liaise with the Engineering, Finance and Purchasing departments in order to provide timely and accurate customer invoicing for all maintenance activities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualification and Experience required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Aviation Engineering background</li> <li>Have worked in multi project management ideally in an MRO aviation environment</li> <li>Worked extensively with 5S</li> <li>Fluent in spoken and written English, German and / or French distinct advantage</li> <li>Computer and Microsoft Office tools literacy, including Outlook, Word and Excel</li> </ul> <p><strong>Competencies required</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong focus on customer service</li> <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Good negotiation skills</li> <li>Good analytical mind</li> <li>Good problem-solving skills</li> <li>Accuracy and organisational skills</li> <li>Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously</li> <li>Able to make decision and take responsibilities</li> </ul>
