Senior Radar Engineer - Bahrain

<p>Serco are currently seeking a Bahrain based Senior Radar Engineer,&nbsp; to ensure that all ATC Radar systems are serviceable and maintained to the highest achievable standard</p> <p>Key Job Responsibilities</p> <p>To be responsible for conducting the day-to-day maintenance tasks on all radar equipment and provide support and guidance on all Radar systems in use at the airport. Provide troubleshooting expertise in the resolution of fault situations. Ensure that all radar systems are compliant with ICAO annex 10 Assist in the review and analysis of new equipment tender specification. Provide Engineering expertise and local liaison during equipment installations Provide engineering cover during vacation.Available on 24hr basis</p> <p>Knowledge</p> <p><br /> -The jobholder should have a degree, HNC/HND or other suitable qualification in Electronics Engineering<br /> -Diploma or equivalent in a radar related subject.<br /> Skills</p> <p>-Thorough understanding of the use, calibration and care of various electronic test equipment<br /> -Ability to compile technical reports, routine business correspondence, prepare method statements and drawings as required;<br /> -Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;<br /> -Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities;<br /> -Thorough understanding of all aspects of safety issues related.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>-Minimum 10 years work experience as a qualified electronics engineer specializing in all Air Traffic control radar systems, specifically Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar and Primary.</p>
