About this role

Stress Engineers<br /><br />A number of Stress Engineers are required within both civil and military aircraft development projects. The programmes are at various stages, ranging from initial conceptual design through to static stress analysis, systems stress analysis and design/project documentation. You will be an experienced Stress Engineer with at least 5 years airframe design/analysis experience. Specific skills and experience of interest include:-<br /><br />* Static Code Analysis and FEM tools (Nastran, Patran , Abaqus, Hyperworks etc.)<br />* Documentation of analysis using MathCAD<br />* Static Stress Analysis of metallic airframe structures<br />* Systems Stress Engineering - covering analysis of systems including landing gear, ECS, fuel systems, flight control &amp; weapons systems<br />*  Metallic, Sheet Metal &amp; Composite parts for wing structures (flap support, fairings, flanges, webs, stiffeners etc.<br />*  Specific knowledge of Airbus A350 and associated design tools/methods (including ISAMI)<br /><br />These are long-term contract positions, based Sweden, very close to an airport with regular connecting services to a range of locations including Heathrow, Manchester, Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt.
