About this role
<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p> <p>To maintain all company data in those systems for which responsible [Lido, CORE, Overflight Permission Tool] and maintain a programme of Quality Assurance to ensure all data entered into Lido, and used in Flight Planning is correct. In addition the Flight Support office will be responsible for maintaining the required company data in the Route Manual.<br /> <br /> <u>Job Outline:</u></p> <ul> <li>To apply for all over flight approvals for Emirates scheduled flights, both bi-annually and any ad-hoc extra sections, deliveries and charters. In addition the over flight requests from the Cargo department will be handled including flights conducted by 3rd party operators. Cargo charters will be handled on an ad-hoc basis.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Check, maintain and update the required information in the Flight Planning System [Lido], CORE Operations Control Systems and EGDS to ensure the data integrity and the flight plans are produced on current and accurate data. Check, maintain and update on a weekly basis the Notam database in Lido for any Notams that can be withdrawn or cancelled plus maintain on a daily basis and required Company Notams that need to be input into Lido.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Advise Euro control of any new European stations on line for slot handling. Liaise with Eurocontrol CFMU for the addressing of slot messages and also the European RVSM unit so that they are advised of necessary details as Emirates aircraft enter or get phased out from the fleet.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p> <p><u>Qualifications:</u></p> <ul> <li>Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).</li> <li>Flight Dispatch or other Industry qualification is preferable.</li> </ul> <p><u>Experience:</u></p> <ul> <li>5 to 7 years experience with an airline in the Operations Department and/or 2 years’ experience within Emirates Operations Control as a Flight Dispatcher.</li> <li>Experience in developing processes, and taking responsibility to ensure the departments tasks and responsibilities are tracked and completed in a timely manner.</li> <li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing content of Electronic Flight Bags required for a global network.</li> <li>Familiar with the managing and updating of Flight Operations manuals/documentation.</li> </ul> <p><u>Safety Sensitive role - Yes</u></p> <p><strong>Salary & Benefits:</strong></p> <p>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
