<p>Major Chinese civil aircraft company are seeking a range of experienced aircraft design/development specialists to join their expanding design office in California. This will be on the design and certification of new commercial aircraft development programmes. The focus of the work will include optimisation, bird strike, certification and general design engineering activities. General duties for engineers will include: design & analysis, documentation & testing, project coordination & problem resolution and project reporting. You will need to be able to work autonomously but will also be involved in the training of engineers (including Chinese seconded staff).</p> <p><br /> They have a specific need for Flight Control Engineers and for this role you will be responsible for the design, specification, development, testing, safety and through life support of flight control systems. The work will be on a number of aircraft systems throughout the lifecycle covering systems (e.g. autopilot, yaw-damping and auto-throttle control system) and equipment such as spoilers, rudders, flaps, ailerons, elevators etc.<br /> <br /> Specific Duties will include systems specification, detailed design, writing engineering test plans and verifying test plans for the functionality for certification of aircraft. You will also be providing guidance and expertise on systems design and certification issues.</p> <p>They are looking recruit from now until December 2014 and for these positions you will need to have the current right to work in the USA, as they are not in a position to apply for work permits/visas.</p>
