About this role
<p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p> <p>Develop best practice in O&D Inventory Management, and manage a regional Flight Analyst team, to continuously improve Emirates revenue performance. Drive the achievement of critical success factors and KPI’s linked to revenue per available seat kilometre, overbooking, and class-mix. Develop inventory solutions that balance point of sale and booking class priorities, optimising Emirates passenger mix on flights throughout high and low demand periods, and within a dynamic environment of strong capacity growth.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Honours Degree in one of the following subjects Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business or Logistics and Transport.</li> <li>10 years’ experience in the airline industry with a relevant carrier, 5 years of which have been spent in one of the following areas dealing with inventory management, demand modelling, fares, tariffs, ticketing, on-line passenger pricing or revenue management.</li> <li>Strong people, team management and leadership skills preferably in a multi-cultural environment.</li> <li>Systematic and logical approach to problem solving and a capacity to work around problems.</li> <li>Must possess broad understanding of customer behaviour and market trends and also be able to gauge market dynamics and proactively propose tactical initiatives based on factual information in a timely manner.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills with proven ability to produce and analyse reports of a high quality.</li> <li>Ability to multi-task and work across various departments with strict deadlines is critical.</li> <li>Ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders across the business is a key requirement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary & Benefits:</strong></p> <p>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
