Their business is based around four Divisions - each possessing knowledge and expertise that are second to none in their respective sectors.</p><p>The Group provides design, machining, fabrication, component repair, electrical loom manufacture, and surface treatment services, to the Aerospace and Defence Industries.</p><p>I am currently recruiting for a Commercial Liaison Engineer to join their successful commercial department based at their operation in Essex.</p><p>Key elements of this role are:</p><p>To assist in the preparation of aircraft maintenance quotations based upon the Customer's work specification.<br />To maintain databases of inspection and access man-hours for the aircraft types supported by IES Ltd H1 (including BAe146/AVRO RJ, Embraer 135/145/170/190 &amp; Airbus A320 family).<br />To collate estimates for additional work arising outside of the fixed price agreements, or as requested by the Customer.<br />Ensure that authorisation of the additional and rectification work is secured from the Customer.<br />Produce reports to meet particular Customer requirements.<br />Attendance at Customer liaison and planning meetings as and when required.<br />To identify potential efficiency savings and further revenue sources.<br />To communicate actual performance vs estimated budgets information to<br />internal departments.</p><p>Candidates must possess good general office skills and be confident in the use of MS Office packages, in particular MS Excel &amp; Project. The ability to work independently is essential, as well as being able to multi-task and work under pressure.
