About this role
<p>A VVIP airline based in Qatar is looking for highly qualified and motivated individuals to be part of the team.</p> <p><strong>Technical Support Engineer</strong><br /> <br /> Technical Support Engineer is part of the QCAA Part-M and QCAA Part 145 Organisation. He/she supports the technical organisation in maintaining aircraft and ensuring the airworthiness of them. He/she is committed to act with overall accuracy and have a technical background of aircraft technology. He/she supports the continuous airworthiness of the fleet and assures an optimum availability of the aircraft together with the System Engineer by;</p> <ul> <li>AMP development</li> <li>Maintenance check planning</li> <li>Third party maintenance negotiations</li> <li>Documentation and invoice verification of third party maintenance</li> <li>Technical publication review (AAR, SB, SL, etc.)</li> <li>Retrofit program administration</li> <li>layover liaising</li> <li>Trouble shooting support and AOG technical support</li> <li>Effecting special projects</li> <li>Supporting Head of Engineering and Director Technical control in regards to their duties.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualification/Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s/College Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent</li> <li>Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role with detailed knowledge on at least 2 aircraft types of our current fleet.</li> <li>Airbus A340/RR Trent 500, A340/CFM56, A330/CF6, A310/CF6, A319/A320/V2500, A319/A320/CFM56, BD700/BR710 and B747-8/Genx</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Team orientation</li> <li>Powers of self-assertion</li> <li>Strong Communication and Negotiation skills</li> <li>Fluent business English proficiency (oral/written)</li> </ul> <p><strong>To apply please click on the 'Apply now' button</strong></p>
