Line Service Agent

<p>Zenon are currently searching for a Line Service Agent to join a successful VIP Operation based in Luton who offer a wide range of services to the VIP Aviation Industry including, FBO, MRO, Aircraft Management and Charter.&nbsp;</p> <p>This role requires the successful applicant to provide the highest level of VIP customer service to passengers, crews and guests at all times. To work within the Line to provide associated services.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carry out all line services as required for the live operation (this will include services such as marshalling, towing, pushback, headset, toilet, water, fuel, baggage on load/offload, GPU, steps), as directed by the customer, supervisor &nbsp;and operations controller.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Communicate with all other departments in regard to Line services.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Clear understanding of all Safety Operating Procedures.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Once trained, carry out aircraft re-fuelling services to regulation and Company standard.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carry out fuel testing as per regulations; ensuring accurate record keeping of all appropriate tests.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carry out fuel equipment inspections on a shift basis and as per regulations. Ensure any defects are logged and reported accordingly to the Line Service Manager<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Adhere to industry and company safety operating procedures at all times whilst carrying out re-fuelling duties.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure you are present on the line whenever possible to ensure safety and an efficient, VIP service at all times.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carry out hangar towing once appropriately trained to do so, adhering to SOP’s at all times.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Assist crew / passengers / third parties (e.g. engineering) whenever necessary.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carry out marshalling duties, once appropriately trained by the Line Service Trainer.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Liaise with third party suppliers and the airport operations team wherever necessary; maintaining a professional relationship at all times.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Carry out equipment inspections on a shift basis as directed by the Line Service Supervisor. Ensure any defects are logged and reported accordingly to the Line Service Supervisor.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure equipment is suitably fuelled and serviced accordingly.&nbsp;<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Undertake Customer Service, Operations, Access Control, and Level 1 Security training to assist other departments whenever necessary. You may also be required to undertake a certain level of aircraft re-fuelling training at the discretion of your manager.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Be aware of Line safety standards and procedures, addressing any concerns with the Line Service Supervisor.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be required to have the following:&nbsp;</p> <p>•&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Must have HGV 1&amp;2<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;VIP customer service understanding and skills.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Communication skills both verbal and written.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Attention to detail.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;A positive attitude and demeanour.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Helpful, flexible and willing attitude to work and colleagues.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Experience of an aviation operations<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;The ability to work under pressure.<br /> •&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Full driving licence, must present original copy every 6 months</p> <p>The salary will be between £24,000 – £26,000 per annum depending on experience.</p> <p>Please send your CV to ashley.ewen@zenon.aero</p> <p>All applications will be handled in confidence.&nbsp;</p> <p>Zenon Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.</p>
