Supply Chain Manager

<p><img src="http://counter.adcourier.com/bGlvbmVsZy45ODU3Mi40MjRAYWVyb3Blb3BsZS5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20.gif" />Our customer is a unique and rapidly expanding company in the design, manufacture and supply of state of the art hybrid retrofit systems.<br /> <br /> Conceived in 2011, and drawing on expertise gained from the heavy vehicle, F1 and aerospace arenas, this diverse engineering team is challenged continuously to develop innovative product solutions for a predefined marketplace.<br /> <br /> Working in partnership with two of the UK?s leading public transportation and aerospace companies they are afforded exceptional industry backing and support.<br /> <br /> Due to a period of growth they are seeking to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to join their operation based in Greater London.<br /> <br /> <strong>Responsibilities and Activities:</strong><br /> <br /> Creation and management of full system bill of materials for new automotive product;</p> <ul> <li>Pricing negotiation with suppliers</li> <li>Introduction of stock management process and software;</li> <li>Factory auditing and compliance checking with ISO9001;</li> <li>Introduction of quality control process for in-house manufacturing, incoming components as well as final delivery of product;</li> <li>General supplier management;</li> <li>Supplier delivery scenario forecasting;</li> <li>Organisation of component shipping (international and domestic);</li> <li>Expansion of production/supply chain team and recruitment of further personnel.</li> </ul> <p><br /> <strong>Skills and Experience</strong><br /> <br /> Required</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in a similar role in a related industry or sector;</li> <li>Experience of stock management processes and tools;</li> <li>ISO quality standards in manufacturing and adherence to standards</li> <li>Experience of manufacturing quality control;</li> <li>Experience in incoterms and component shipping from Asia;</li> <li>Management Experience.</li> </ul> <p><br /> To see our full list of current vacancies, training courses, latest news or to find out any further information about Aeropeople please call the Recruitment team on 01223 373333 or visit our website www.aeropeople.com<br /> <br /> <strong>About Aeropeople</strong><br /> <br /> Aeropeople are a leading dedicated Aerospace and Autosport technical services provider specialising in the recruitment of permanent and temporary staff.
