Service Delivery Controller - dnata Cargo Operations

Dubai International Airport is one of the busiest travel hubs in the world, and we work around the clock to continually delight and exceed our customers' expectations.</p> <p>We are looking for innovative individuals with a 'can-do' attitude to join our dnata Cargo team and contribute to dnata's ongoing success at both our Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central (DWC) locations. As a Service Delivery Controller (Operations) you will be responsible for leading a shift of up to 250 staff across a 24 hour operation. Our team of Service Delivery Controllers are dedicated to achieving the highest level of service possible as well as ensuring an efficient, cost-effective and most importantly a safe operation at all times.</p> <p><strong>Specific Job Accountabilities - Cargo Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and maintain an overview of Cargo Operations and stakeholder activities providing co-ordination and leadership in order to realise all departmental and corporate objectives.</li> <li>In conjunction with Line Manager, proactively co-ordinate and lead the business unit resources to ensure that service levels are delivered to customers that meet both internal and external KPIs and SLAs while ensuring that SOPs are strictly adhered to. </li> <li>Identify and manage problem areas within the operation, forward planning, deploying resources and information as required to meet service delivery targets, whilst ensuring that safety, security and costs are maintained at acceptable levels.</li> <li>Develops close working relationship with operational team, Line Management, Airport Duty management and Manager(s) Cargo Service Delivery, and ensure all stakeholders are working in unison to achieve quality objectives that meet both internal and customer KPIs. </li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications & Experience </strong> </p> <ul> <li>Graduate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Air Cargo or other logistical Services operational role</li> </ul> <p>OR</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>"A" levels with a minimum of  8 years' experience in an Air Cargo or other logistical Services operational role</li> <li>Ideally you will have solid experience working within a Cargo environment for an Airline or Ground Handling Agent</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary & Benefits:</strong></p> <p>We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE.
