<p><strong>Airframe/Propulsion Instructor</strong></p> <p>Aeropeople have an exciting opportunity for an Airframe/Propulsion Instructor, to join a well established Aerospace Engineering Company based on the edge of Cambridge, with easy access from the surrounding counties via the A14, A1 and M11.</p> <p>Due to the expansion and growth of the Training Academy, including a drive towards a more Civil Aerospace strategy, you would be joining an established team of around 10 multi-disciplined Engineering Instructors to work on delivering predominantly technical training to internal and external students, company employee’s, apprentices and external organisations.</p> <p>The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background of working in a hands-on capacity within the aviation industry and the ability to teach technically complex subjects in a classroom environment. <br /> Activities will be primarily teaching of students but can also include the construction of course syllabi, course design and development of course notes to the relevant industry standards.<br /> For the right applicant, training is available to develop instructional capability, including both managerial and technical skills as required.<br /> Within the role there is an opportunity to travel and lecture overseas occasionally.<br /> <strong>This role will involve:</strong><br /> • Taking responsibility for complete work packages, making a significant contribution to the training team’s function and capabilities.<br /> • Providing the opportunity to gain experience across a broad spectrum of activities and the development of technical expertise will be encouraged.<br /> • May involve some travel.<br /> <strong>Applicants must have:</strong><br /> • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint<br /> • Good communication, motivational and instructional skills<br /> • One or more aircraft type courses/approvals<br /> • The ability to work on their own initiative</p> <p><strong>Applicants will ideally have:</strong><br /> • A good working knowledge of EASA Part 66, 145 and 147<br /> • Experience of the C-130/L-100<br /> • Experience working in the civil sector</p> <p><strong>About Aeropeople</strong><br /> Aeropeople are a leading dedicated Aerospace and Autosport technical services provider specialising in the recruitment of permanent and temporary staff.
